20:26 On the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Berachah, where ¹  they praised the Lord. So that place is called the Valley of Berachah ²  to this very day.

2 Tawarikh 25:20

25:20 But Amaziah did not heed the warning, ³  for God wanted to hand them over to Joash because they followed the gods of Edom. ⁴ 

[20:26]  ¹ tn Heb “for there.”

[20:26]  ² sn The name Berachah, which means “blessing” in Hebrew, is derived from the verbal root “to praise [or “to bless”],” which appears earlier in the verse.

[25:20]  ³ tn Heb “did not listen.”

[25:20]  ⁴ tn Heb “because it was from God in order to give them into the hand because they sought the gods of Edom.”
